Resident Evil 5, Unsurprisingly, Takes British No. 1 Spot

Resident Evil 5 has taken over as the UK’s No. 1 selling videogame ahead of Empire: Total War for the PC.

According to Chart Track, it seems that the Xbox 360 verison sold more then the PLAYSATTION 3 verison by a margin of 10% of the 360′s 55% to the PS3′s 45% with sales numbers so big, it has even surprassed the christmas numbers set by Christmas No. 1, FIFA 09.

The top 10 for the week of March 9th is as follows:
