The game flew into shops in the UK today on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, with the PS3 version of the game recieving exclusive DLC allowing you to play as the Joker. If you haven’t got the game already, we sug-jest you get out there and buy it.

We would love it if anyone out there could come up with more comic book hero puns for us to Marvel at.

Final Fantasy XIII

We’re so fucking pumped right now.

Really.

GameStop have listed Final Fantasy XIII on their website, for both PS3 and Xbox 360, down for June 22nd 2010. This come as producer Yoshinori Kitase told our friends at VG247 at GamesCom last week that the game would be released in Spring 2010 in the US and Europe.

Now normally, that wouldn’t mean anything. That is until a piece of info comes into play that has come out tonight. Japanese journalists and select Western journalists have been invited to a Japanese premiere party of the game, which takes place on September 8th.

The Western date? We don’t know. But expect the Japanese date regardless anyways. It’s due in time for Christmas in Japan anyways for PlayStation 3.

Tokyo Game Show, here we fucking come! FULL SPEED!

riddick1

We’ve all been the to dusty, blood-ridden planes of Helghan. We’ve all enjoyed a frantic bumper fest, checking the rear-view mirror as a loved one ploughs into a wall in a fiery ball of fire.

Hey, we’ve all killed our fair share of people, wrecked our fair share of cars and basically saved/destroyed the Omniverse at one time or another. It’s what games are there for, right?

Yes, undoubtedly. But that doesn’t stop some people making tranquil, relaxing pieces of entertainment, and then being featured in a list, this list, to help you find your spot of peace in the ether.

Rockstar

UPDATE: Rockstar’s just published the first screens of Chinatown Wars for the PSP. No use to us (yet…), but they did say there would “lots of announcmenets”. Go take a look here if you want.

There has to be at least one big console announcement. Lost & Damned and Ballad of Gay Tony coming to PS3?

UPDATE 2: They’ve released two new concept art for The Ballad of Gay Tony. Full story here.

As well as that, a new trailer for that music game for the PSP, Beaterator, is coming today. Nothing exciting yet, but keep the faith.

UPDATE 3: The first trailer for The Ballad of Gay Tony will be released on Tuesday.

Original Story: Maybe we are getting ahead of ourselves. Maybe…

But Rockstar has tweeted that they have “Lots of announcements” coming today. It comes as they re-launched their website (we know some other site re-launching too), saying the news on their Twitter.

“Rockstar site redux: http://www.rockstargames.com. Check it out. Lots of announcements coming today…”

Make of that as you will. But we’ve sent off an email to Rockstar anyways to see if we should set our expectations high or not.
