E3 2010: EA Round-up

EA’s E3 press conference finished just a few hours ago, so here is our round-up of what went down.

New Need for Speed title from Criterion

Need for Speed is back on track again with Criterion behind it, and the new game is called Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit.

It’ll be out on November 16th in the US and November 19th in Europe and features full careers as both a police officer and a racer . Check out the trailer below, it’s awesome!

Dead Space 2 dated

Visceral have given a date of January 25th in the USA and January 28 th in Europe. In Dead Space 2 we see Isaac stranded in a city known as ‘The Sprawl’ and he is, as far as we know, the only man there.

Hopefully Dead Space 2 can retain the quality, polished feel that made Dead Space 2 a stand-out title in 2008 and retains the same excellent scares. Check out the gameplay footage below. Oh and not that you need another reason, more was promised from Dead Space 2 tomorrow at Sony’s event, Move support maybe?

EA’s shooters take the fight to Call of Duty

EA demoed some impressive Medal of Honor action today, with a beta imminent which will be going live June 21st on 360, PS3 and PC.

The beta will give gamers early access to two maps and Battlefield: Bad Company 2 VIPs who’ve pre-ordered Medal of Honor will get early access to the beta on June 17th.

EA also detailed a new piece of DLC for Bad Company 2, Vietnam, which you can again see below, and will be coming to PS3, 360 and PC in the winter.

EA Sports

Peter Moore was on stage to give an announce date of October 19  for EA Sports MMA.

Additionally, Moore EA Sports Active 2 will be on Wii, PS3 and 360 with full support for Move and Kinect, with the title coming this November.

Bulletstorm

Bulletstorm has been given a release date of February 22nd 2011 for the US, and we of course have the obligatory trailer for you.

Crysis 2

Last but not least, Crytek’s big daddy of a shooter. No words needed, just watch and enjoy it.

You said this above but the video trailer didn’t worry. Can you fix this problem?
