Since being postponed in April, things have gone quiet on the BioShock movie front, but now it seems to have lightened up again thanks to a certain Michael Schofield.

Prison Break’s Wentworth Miller has tweeted a seriously big hint as to his involvement in the BioShock movie. It comes as Prison Break wrapped up for the final time on British TV last night, but Miller did say:

Prison Break may be ending, but I’ve got things in the works. Hint…one word: Bioshock.

So, there you have it. We’ve pegged it as rumor just to be safe, but hey, cant go wrong can it? The movie was originally to be out at the end of next year to meet up with BioShock 3, BioShock 2 is out this October/November.

However, Universal have not pulled the plug on the project altogether, it is just to see if they can make the movie in a cheaper way. The movie was originally meant to be out by the end of next year to meet up with BioShock 3, according to Take Two.

Info from the OPM Preview of BioShock 2

Posted in PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 with tags , , , , on April 7, 2009 by Jonathan Cullen

bioshock
Our OPM UK subscriber friend, who told GOONL!NE about the Final Fantasy XIII playtest, has passed onto us the info from the OPM preview of them uch antcipated BioShock 2. Granted, most of the stuff in there is already known from the GI article a couple of weeks back but there are some interesting things in there too.

For a start:

  • The game does take place 10 years after the original as it sees Rapture been rebuilt.
  • You do play as the first Big Daddy (we obviously know that bit)
  • Unlike the last game where you had to switch inbetween weapons and plasmids, you can use both at the same time. Better yet, you can upgrade these weapons as they are Big Daddy’s standard weapons.
  • If you decide to tak a Little Sister with you, she can harvest ADAM but beware, you can be attacked from nowhere by goons looking for their own Adam. After which, you take her to a sfae place, where you must decide to harvest her for more ADAM or keep her alive.
  • Infact, during these seiges with the Little Sister, you may be attacked by the Big Sister.

More info is after the jump.
