The PR also confirms a 2010 release for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii, with the tracklist full exportable for use in Rock Band and Rock Band 2.
“We’ve worked with the Rock Band team in the past year to enable our fans to play tracks from 21st Century Breakdown, and we’re excited to now be working on a game, spanning our entire career,” said Green Day frontman, Billy-Joe Armstrong.
PR is after the break. The game was announced at the VGAs this morning.
The full album is available from Tuesday on Xbox Live Marketplace and Rock Band Shop for the Wii, and Thursday on the PS Store.
The album, which includes the classics like Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, When I’m Sixty-Four and the epic closer that is A Day in the Life, will retail for 1080 MS points on Marketplace, and £7.49 for the PS3 and Wii.
The full tracklist is after the jump.
This is the first time either band has been involved with the game, although the third time Jack White has been involved, as his side projects The Raconteurs and The Dead Weather has been in the game for a while.
White Stripes songs include Icky Thump, Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground and Girl You Have No Faith in Medicine. Kasabian’s involvement sees them use Club Foot from their self-titled debut album.
The Damned will also be involved with “Smash it Up”.
The DLC is out on Tuesday for XBLMP and Rock Band Shop for the Wii, and on Thursday for the PS3. PR after the break.
Is this the real life, or is this just fantasy? It’s definitely the former. Arguably the greatest band of all time, Queen, are making their way to Rock Band! The track pack includes the following tunes:

• “Fat Bottomed Girls”
• “I Want It All”
• “I Want to Break Free”
• “Killer Queen”
• “One Vision”
• “Somebody to Love”
• “Tie Your Mother Down”
• “Under Pressure”
These tracks will be available for purchase as “Queen Pack” and as individual tracks on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 system and as individual tracks on Wii. The songs will be available on Xbox 360 and Wii on October 20th and on PlayStation 3 on October 22nd.

So 9/9/09 has passed.
Nothing catastrophic has happened. In fact, even if it was just for a day, music was reborn with The Beatles.
Their 13 remastered albums hit shops yesterday from Rubber Soul, Yellow Submarine and The White Album to Sgt Pepper, Let it Be and my personal favourite, Abbey Road. But of course, we’re here to cover The Beatles: Rock Band, the first band specific Rock Band game from Harmonix.
Just to clarify, this ain’t a review. This is actually to tell you how GOONL!NE is celebrating Paul, John, George and Ringo.
