Treyarch have unveiled the first full trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops, and boy, does it go for the pyrotechnics big style!
Catch it after the break. Black Ops launches on 360, PS3, Wii and PC on November 9th.
Treyarch have unveiled the next game in the Call of Duty franchiese, Call of Duty: Black Ops.
Following on from their last game, World at War, Black Ops’ trailer showcases lots of warfare very quickly, with what indeed looks like Vietnam, however the game we think might take a leaf out of Assassin’s Creed book, as the trailer indicates you are a soldier who is being made to relive past memories.
There was also what looks like a Russian cosmonaut briefly too, with the game possibly spanning the whole of the Cold War.
Check out the trailer from GTTV after the jump.
“There will be no Nazis or zombies in any piece of Modern Warfare 2 downloadable content,” said Bowling, however with the next Call of Duty coming this year from Treyarch, we wouldn’t be surprised to see it rear its head in the new game.
Modern Warfare 2 has been a phenomenal success, there can be no disputing that. In fact, it has been so much of a success that Activision publishing boss Mike Griffith has said that the company has “not planned on repeating the same level of success on this year’s title,” however they still remain “bullish” about it’s success.

According to Kotaku, Activision are developing a Wii version of Modern Warfare. Better yet, they will in fact announce it today.
However Wii fans, before you go off the rails and laugh at the HD consoles for snagging this, it should be noted that they refer to Modern Warfare 1 – as in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare – and not Modern Warfare 2.
Treyarch will be handling the port, and not Infinity Ward, but the game will release day and date with Modern Warfare 2 on November 10th.
Expect the announcement during Activision’s Q2 financial results tonight.
