Buy a PLAYSTATION 3 in Japan and Get a Resident Evil 5 Demo with it

Live in Japan? Still haven’t got a PS3? Want an plausable excuse to get one?

Now you have one.

Sony is putting on a great deal for you to get a PLAYSTATION 3. If you get a PS3 from December 18th, you get the choice of 2 demo discs, either white or red.

The white disc is more or less based on young children and young teens but the red disc is where most of the good stuff will be.

On the white disc, you get demos of Naruto, Winning Eleven 2009 (Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 for anyone in the UK and Europe) and The Last Guy as well as videos of Gundam Mussou 2, Aquanaut’s Holiday, Afrika and LittleBigPlanet.

But if you have a sense, you’d go for the red disc which contains videos including Demon Souls (the new Tecmo PS3 exclusive), Ryu Go Gotaku (Yakuza 3), White Knight Chronicles and Resistance 2 with demos of Senjou no Valkyria (Valkyria Chronicles), Metal Gear Solid 4, Metal Gear Online and… Biohazard 5 which is known in the West as Resident Evil 5.

As the RE5 demo is on the disc, we can assume that the demo will be on the PSN Store in Japan before christmas although as to if it’ll be on the PSN Store before the release of this demo disc is certainly another matter.

But if you can’t wait for the demo and have an Xbox 360, dont fret, just make a Japanese XBL account, the demo for the 360 is out on Friday.
